What To Expect

If you’re new to NPBC or thinking about visiting, you may be wondering what to expect when you come. Here you’ll find some answers to questions many people have about NPBC. Please contact us if you have a question that is not answered below.

WHEN DO I COME?

On Sundays, Sunday School classes for adults only begins at 8:00 AM, and at 11 AM for all ages. You can look under the ‘Church Life‘ tab to browse Sunday School classes and get an idea of what may be right for you. When you arrive, a Greeter will welcome you and show you where you can find the classes for you and your kids.

The worship service begins at 9:30 AM. It’s best to arrive a little early because the sanctuary fills up quickly.

WHAT DO I BRING?

If you have a Bible, that’s all you’ll need to bring with you. The pastor teaches directly from God’s Word each week, so bringing your own Bible will help you follow along. If you don’t have a Bible to bring, that’s okay. We often project the passages onto our screens.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

While some people do wear their “Sunday best,” most people just wear casual, comfortable clothes at NPBC. Don’t worry too much about what you wear–just come expecting a great service!

WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?

During the Sunday School hour, your kids will go to an age-appropriate class, you can find these classes by looking at our ‘Church Life’ page. During the worship hour, your kids can go to Children’s Church.

WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?

During a service at NPBC, you can expect to worship God through singing songs, celebrating a baptism, hearing God’s Word preached, praying together, and giving offerings. These are the main elements of our weekly service.
